What is clarity enhanced diamonds?
First, you should know that CLARITY ENHANCED DIAMONDS are exactly the same as
non enhanced diamonds and more than often are diamonds that "had" eye visible imperfections.
They are natural diamonds that are growing just like any other diamond a few miles underneath
the earth for a few million years. With this information in mind and being that no one wants a
diamond with "eye visible" inclusions, a jeweler with this type of a diamond will have the inclusion(s)
"treated" to be made invisible to the naked eye. The only thing that have been change (or altered to be correct),
is they’re look & appearance.
So, how dose it look after all?

In essence, they were diamonds with a very noticeable inclusion to the naked eye, like a visible
Black dot or a white father smack right in the middle of it. To illuminate your understanding,
A feather is one type of inclusion that appears white (and dose resembles a feather) and occurs
Frequently in most diamonds that have been treated with today’s evolving chemistry and technology.
This revolutionary process optically eliminates some types of inclusions which are naturally occurring
In most diamonds. The result is a more visually stunning diamond that you can purchase for
Significantly less then a similar-looking, non-enhanced diamond. Again, these diamonds are
Totally natural and come from the same diamond mines as all other diamonds.
Now, you may probably ask your self: “Does Clarity Enhancement change A Diamond in Any Way?”
There is only one answer to it and that is No! It is still a natural diamond that just looks a lot better
Than it used too. In addition and incase you wondering, the amount of material used to fill the inclusion
(With a material that have the same optical properties as the diamond itself.), is so microscopic that
Even the world's greatest diamond laboratory, Gemological Institute of America (GIA) has reported
That clarity enhancement process adds ZERO WEIGHT to a diamond.
That means that if you have a 1.00 carat diamond with a few inclusion to the naked eye, it will still weight 1.00 carat after the enhancement process and will look a lot better than before (no added or reduced carat weight).
As a metaphor for better understanding and visualizing, think about the enhancement treatment
As parallel to a situationthat were you've just cracked your car windshield, instead of replacing the entire windshield, Your repairman just "fills the crack" with special material so you can’t see it no more.
The “crack” (it’s only a natural microscopic surface braking inclusion so don’t get panicky),
is still there but you just can’t see it any more.
As a recommendation, if you do have the extra money, and you are NOT looking to get a bigger diamond For your money, then you may not even want to consider it. But, if you really want to know our 2 cents on the subject: in today times of breast implants, nose job, Lasik (a surgical procedure intended to reduce a person's dependency on glasses or contact lenses), and all the rest of body modification frenzy in our culture, we really think that UPGRADING & getting a bigger diamond or the same size diamond for less money is totally and completely the right way to go.
